Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 October 2026
MyPigeonPedigree (“we”, “us”) is an online pedigree, breeding, racing and loft-management service for pigeon fanciers, run by Sabbir Hasan from Bangladesh. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, who it is shared with, and what choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
1. Who is responsible for your data
MyPigeonPedigree, operated by Sabbir Hasan, Bangladesh. You can reach us at [email protected] or on WhatsApp through the link on our Contact page.
2. What we collect
Your account. Your email address and a password (stored only in a protected, hashed form; we cannot read it). We also keep your account status, such as trial, active or suspended, and any pigeon-limit or subscription notes.
Your loft data. What you add to your account: pigeons, ring numbers, pedigrees, pairings, racing results, competitions, diary entries, contacts, and your loft name, address and logo. This is your data. We use it only to run the service for you.
Contact form. If you write to us through the website, we receive your first name, last name, email, company (optional) and your message.
Payment records. Payments are handled personally, not through an online checkout. We keep a payment reference and notes so we can activate and renew your plan. We never ask for or store card numbers on this site.
Technical data. Basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and the time of requests, kept in server logs for security and reliability.
3. How we use it
- To create and run your account and show you your own data.
- To enforce the free trial, grace period and subscription rules.
- To answer your messages and support requests.
- To check that a contact-form email address is real, so we can reply and block spam.
- To protect the service, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your loft data for advertising.
4. Legal basis (for users in the EU, UK and similar regions)
We process your data to carry out our agreement with you (running your account), for our legitimate interests (security, support and preventing spam), with your consent where we ask for it, and to meet legal obligations.
5. Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run MyPigeonPedigree, and they may process data only on our behalf. They fall into these categories:
- Cloud hosting and database providers, which store your account and loft data and keep the website running.
- Authentication and file-storage services, which handle sign-in and your uploaded logos.
- Workflow and spreadsheet tools, which process and store contact-form messages.
- Email-verification services, which check that a contact-form email address is real.
- Internal messaging tools, which notify us when a message arrives.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of users. We never show your loft data to other members. If you would like to know which specific providers we use, ask us at [email protected] and we will tell you.
6. Privacy between lofts
Every member has a separate loft. Your pigeons, pedigrees, races, diary, contacts and logos are visible only to your account, with one exception: the shared pigeon database described below. Only the MyPigeonPedigree administrator can access accounts, and only to give support, manage subscriptions, or keep the service secure. Administrator actions are logged.
Locked loft details. Your loft name, address, city, postcode, country and logo become locked after you save them, so they cannot be altered by you or by anyone with access to your device. Only the MyPigeonPedigree administrator can change them, on your request, and each change is logged.
Shared pigeon database. To save fanciers time, MyPigeonPedigree keeps a shared pigeon database, switched on by default after you have seen the notice in the app. For each pigeon in your loft we share: ring number, sex, colour, strain, hatch year, name, the ring numbers of its sire and dam, and the “Pigeon Details” text. We never share photos, prices, your loft name, your name, contact details or any other information about you or your account. A pigeon can only be found by an exact ring number match, by another member whose own sharing is switched on, and lookups are rate limited. The other member receives their own editable copy of that pigeon, its parents and its grandparents; they can never change your record, and deleting their copy never affects yours. If you delete a pigeon, or switch sharing off in Settings → Shared database, it is removed from the shared database for future lookups; copies other members already made stay with them. Members can report wrong data, and we may correct or remove shared records.
Breeder claims and the issuer line. When you mark a pigeon as bred in your loft, we record the claim: the ring number, a one-way reference to your account, the decision and the date. If another loft holds the same ring number, the administrator can see your name, email, phone number, loft name, pigeon and any message you add, in order to review the claim. Every pedigree you print carries a small line with your full name, email address and the date, so that the pedigree can be traced back to the member who issued it; if you share or hand out a pedigree, that line goes with it. When your account is deleted we remove your message and the link to you, but keep the ring number, the one-way account reference and the decision, to prevent misuse of ring numbers.
7. International transfers
Our providers may store and process data in countries other than yours, including outside the EU and UK. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers.
8. How long we keep data
Account and loft data: while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it within 30 days, except for records we must keep by law.
Ring claim records: kept after account deletion in reduced form (ring number, one-way account reference, decision), to prevent misuse of ring numbers.
Contact-form messages: for as long as needed to handle your request and follow up, then deleted on request.
Server logs: kept for a short period for security.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw consent. You can export your pigeons from your account at any time. To make a request, contact [email protected]. We will reply within a reasonable time, and within 30 days where the law sets that limit. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Cookies
We use only the cookies and similar storage that are strictly needed to keep you signed in, remember your language, and keep the service secure. We do not use advertising cookies.
11. Security
We use industry-standard measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access rules that keep each loft’s data separate, and restricted administrator access. No online service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep it private.
12. Children
MyPigeonPedigree is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
13. Third-party contacts in your loft
If you store other people’s details in your Contacts (for example, buyers or fellow fanciers), you are responsible for having a good reason to keep them and for respecting their privacy.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we make an important change, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, tell you by email or in the app.
15. Contact
